National Novel Writing Month
I want to thank the folks at NaNoWriMo for putting this event together each November. Writing is usually a solitary sport and it is a nice change to make it a group effort. The support and encouragement of other writers and the ability to offer your support in return is appreciated. Also, writing a 50,000 word novel in 30 days helps one develop the discipline necessary to write everyday. Their website is located here.
