MARY GRIGGS BIOGRAPHY

After a decade of running stores for Borders Books and Music, I turned my attention to nonprofit management. I worked as a Senior Human Resources Director until I opened my own consulsing firm with my business partner, Jennie Brick.

I serve on the Board the Golden Crown Literary Society, as Chair of the LGBT Community Center of New Orleans, the Co-Chair of The Community Coalition of Greater New Orleans and as Deputy Political Director for New Orleans Governmental Affairs of the Forum For Equality-Louisiana Board.

My blog on restaurants and eating is based on a Quote from Frederic Raphael: "Great restaurants are nothing but mouth-brothels. There is no point in going to them if one intends to keep one's belt buckled."
